About us
Dutton is a small but growing rural township, about 20 kilometres from Nuriootpa and 20 kilometres from Eudunda. St John’s Lutheran Church is the only church in the town, so we see ourselves as a community congregation.
We would like to provide an opportunity for people in the local district to get to know our Lord and Saviour and worship him in a welcoming environment.
Worship style
Our current worship style is predominantly traditional, with variations in service order and liturgy.
What makes us unique
Our church is unique in that we have a very talented violinist who provides music, and we have a belltower housing two bells that are rung manually before and after each service.
Other than the church, the grounds include the original school, teacher house and cemetery.
The best way to describe our congregation is that it is warm, caring and relaxed.
