Our vision for the Barossa North Lutheran Parish
We see our new parish as an exciting challenge. We welcome cooperation between the congregations and encourage the sharing of resources and gifts. As a parish, we have the opportunity to share Christ with others. We believe in community outreach and witnessing living our faith to the community.
The parish was formed from all or parts of Nuriootpa Lutheran Parish (Holy Trinity, Neukirch and Ebenezer); Strait Gate Lutheran Parish (Strait Gate and Truro); and Immanuel Lutheran Parish (Immanuel Light Pass, Stockwell and Dutton) with two pastors – pastors Mathew Ker and Damien Martin.
Each congregation hosts two preaching services each month. On the other Sundays, either a lay-reading service is conducted, or the congregation is invited to attend the service at another member of the parish.
